Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association

Dear Friends of Pleasant Hill Cemetery,

Today, we are reaching out to you, the families and friends of loved ones, whose final home is Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

The emerald ash bore has hit Pleasant Hill Cemetery and we are working to remove sixteen trees, with the total cost estimated to be $16,000.00. The cost is high due to the fact that the trees need to be removed in pieces with a boom truck to protect all the surrounding headstones, and stump removal and reseeding. Our mowing expense for 2022 will be approximately $12,000.00. In addition, we are residing the white chapel and replacing doors to complete the chapel restoration at a cost of $5,500.00.

We are asking for your help. The costs to maintain our cemetery continues to increase. Selling lots, memorials, grants and interest, just isn’t enough. Being a private cemetery, we are not eligible for any county support. The Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association Board would greatly appreciate your support in maintaining our cemetery.
